The Wise and Foolish Builders
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
Thanks Donn, for an inspirational message and encouragement. Congratulations to the Church for having, finally, an interactive media. I love it!!! I’m just now learning how to do this ‘interactive’ media, you’re my first response! (smile!). Sorry to be late. I’m glad it is helpful. I know that Stacey Sofoul is working to do more with ‘Facebook’ and ‘live-streaming’ so maybe your expertise can help guide him, clearly this is not my area. What a wonderful uplifting sermon. Debby & I wish we could have attended last week and this Sunday, but she had to work and we have only the one car. God willing and work schedule permitting, we plan to be there next Sunday 10/1/2017. Just a note about a huge blessing we received from Irma, our manufactured home never lost power and sustained no damage except for the storage room door which has a ding in it. Houses immediately around us also sustained no damage, houses in our community lost a roofs and sustained other damage. Not even a plant in our yard sustained damage! I see the protective hand of God in that storm as we and our belongings were kept safe, as an answer to prayer.
