The Camp and Conference Center in Silver Springs is gearing up for another exciting summer of Christ centered and Bible focused camps that will take place from June 17 through Aug 3rd. The theme this year is “Faithbook 2012.” To see which camp is most appropriate for the age of your child, there is a list of camps that has been posted in the Fellowship Hall or you can go online to find this information and download applications at www.floridadisciples.org.
The Summer Camp program is a wonderful opportunity for your child or teen to experience God’s love and grace as they hike the rich nature trails, learn new songs, hear God’s stories, share moments around the campfire, make new friends in cabin and family groups, learn new crafts, and have some just plain fun during their stay at the Camp and Conference Center.
Please note that there are Scholarship applications available to help offset the cost of camp. I have application forms and you can also download them from the above-mentioned website. Scholarship Applications are due (must be postmarked no later than) March 30th!!
Also, if you register before June 1, $25 may be deducted from the fees.
Of course, camp would not be possible without the wonderful adults who volunteer to be camp counselors. I am directing 3rd Grade Camp and Carol Capanna and Richard Fatschel have already agreed to serve as counselors for this camp. If you are interested in serving as a counselor at one of the camps, please let me know and I will get you hooked up!
